A View from My Lap
There are days I wish I was on the other side of the camera, although I'm uncomfortable there. But I want photos with my kids; so I compensate and pile them on my lap and attempt selfies with my heavy camera. Last spring it worked, and this time it worked again. I never know what I'll end up with, but it's always worth it.
& it's getting harder to fit more than one my lap, as I wrangle the camera's shutter.
10-on-10: September
We weren't so ready to give up summer, but with the slight bit of crisp in the morning air and the yellows and oranges vibrantly taking over the trees, it's been a smooth transition.
The rain broke yesterday afternoon, and we headed outside for some garden greens for dinner, which turned into 30 minutes of fresh air.
It was good.
Be sure to continue the circle with Jen (she saw things) down in Portland- her images floor me, every.single.time.
