Mike's been hunting the past 6 days. He returned early this morning, safe & sound. We are excited to have him back. Fortunately, we have lots of good family here to help out while he's gone (& when I have photo sessions, errands, editing, etc.!!). For his safe return & our incredibly helpful families, I am thankful.
Shadows
One of my favorite things- the sun. This morning my car informed me it was 24 degrees outside, so the shining sun has been much needed. From inside our warm home, it doesn't look quite as cold outside. The sun also creates some beautiful shadows. For the sun, for our warm home, for these shadows, I am thankful.
I Voted
Today I voted. Covey & Ella joined me; Rylee got to vote in his classroom. He was so excited about it. Unfortunately, or quite fortunately, I think he has my interest in politics. After Ry's vote, he received a flag sticker; after my vote, Covey got an "I voted" sticker. For all of this & voting especially, I am thankful.
Haircuts
The boys got haircuts today. This is their second time in the salon- I sort of feel funny taking them in, it seems like such an easy task to manage at home. HA! They scream, cry, beg for it not to happen. Take them to the salon? They sit there, calmly, & enjoy every minute of it. Silly boys- & now with less mop-tops. For that, I am thankful. p.s. thank you Emily at Bloom.
My Baby
Sometimes (or most the time) her cuteness overwhelms me. For that, I am thankful.
The Family Clown
The middle child; the family clown; the complete goof; the self-declared 'silly' one; a.k.a. Covey-O. For him, I am thankful.
